Jan Frans van Bloemen (Vanblommen, Gian Francesco) cosiddetto Orizzonte
Landscape artist born in Antwerp who died in Rome. At the age of 19 he went to Rome and took the name of "Orizonte". It is said he worked near Claude Lorrain in Rome, it is possible he worked with him shortly as Claude died in 1682.Active Paris Lyon Roma.Napoli.Sicilia.Malta
