One of the nicest subjects for collecting are the Dutch landscapes, seascapes and harbours from the mid of the 17th century.


Claes Claesz. Visscher II (Nicolaes Visscher II Piscator) - (1649 - 1702 ) Dutch School
Son of Claes Claesz. Visscher I. Received a general privelege of the States of Holland and West Friesland in 1682,the year after which Claes published his stock-list.
In 1684 he sold obsolete palates of the Visscher firm at auction. His wife, Elisabeth Verseyl (died 1726), continued the shop after his dead.

Fine early impressions on watermarked laid paper.
Watermark: schield of Amsterdam hold by two standing lions.

Inventor: Nicolas Perelle ( 1631-1695)
Painter born in Paris died in Orleans. He is the eldest son of Gabriel Perelle and worked with him and later with Vouet.
