Roelandt Savery (1576-1639) - Dutch School

Roelandt was born in Kortrijk/courtrai in Flanders but followed his education mainly in Holland as a pupil of his father Jacob Savery and Hans Bol.
He went to the court of Rudolf II in Prague in 1604 and when Rudolf died in 1512 he continued to work for emperor Matthias.
Van Everdingen and Isaak Major where his pupils.
