Painted miniatures, sea ships, music and wine.
A
great variety of new 15th, 16th and 17th
century's pieces have been added this month.
Perhaps a
good moment to tell something about the search
facility' on the site. I now added a button
'New' upper right on the page. When clicking
this and choosing 'yes' from the menu, you will
see all the prints recently added to the site.
You can do the same of course with the button 'school' or 'period' ...and refine the selection to your preferences in the shopping options on the left. When clicking the button 'artist' you have to be a little bid patient and then a page loads up where you can select any artist to see work for sale.
The strongest one? The icon of the magnifying glass: if you click on it you get a search field to search the entire store.
Top
items this month are some painted miniatures
dating from 1495 in a breathtaking quality.
Also a series of Dutch ships by Wenzel Hollar, and a series of horses by Adrian Collaert.
A large important print showing Music and Amor with Bacchus after Van Winghe, and humanistic prints about the ages done by Wierix.
Enjoy the selection, all prints with large images and prices are available on the website for purchase. All comments are additions concerning this blog are welcome.
