Inventor: Hendrick Goltzius occupied himself with the design of this print from the Metamorphose series.
Engraver:
Not know. Robertus de Baudois or Jan Muller are possible.
Subject: Phebo on the left with pan flute. Mercury's with his winged feet near the 100 eyed Argus garding Io who was changed in a white cow to hide from Zeus.
Technical: Very good impression on full sheet of laid and with nice margins. Verly large watermark of a standing eagle with spread wings.

Not know. Robertus de Baudois or Jan Muller are possible.
Subject: Mercury's playing for the 100 eyed Argus to get him asleep and cut his head off. Purpose: the liberation of Io who was changed in a white cow to hide from Zeus.
Technical: Very good impression on full sheet of laid and with nice margins.

Technical: Very good impression on little sheet of laid with full plate border and small margins. Two lines of Latin text within the plate border.
